Humboldt Bay Harbor Recreation & Conservation District

The Humboldt Bay Harbor Recreation & Conservation District includes the Port of Humboldt Bay and the Port of Eureka. The district is also responsible for the immediate environs of Humboldt Bay, California, USA (including marsh lands, estuaries, etc.). This is California's second largest natural bay. The primary city is Eureka, California. This port, located on the Northern California coast, is about convert|225|mi|km north of San Francisco and convert|156|nmi|km south of Coos Bay, Oregon. It is the only large Deep-water port for the entirety of Northern California north of San Francisco Bay.
