Spring Lawn

Spring Lawn

Spring Lawn is a historic home on Kemble Street in Lenox, Masschusetts. Built in 1904 for John Alexandre, the mansion is considered a unique blend of Beaux-Arts and Classical Revival styles. Spring Lawn was designed by Guy Lowell who was also the architect of Boston's Museum of Fine Arts and the New York State Supreme Courthouse. The property has seen many uses over the years including acting as the home of the National Music Foundation and Shakespeare & Company [http://www.boston.com/ae/theater_arts/articles/2004/08/15/money_woes_force_troupe_to_get_its_act_together?pg=full] . Today, there are plans to convert the mansion and its surrounding property in to a luxury resort [http://www.springlawn.com/aerial.html] .
