Sanem communal council

Sanem communal council ( _fr. Conseil communal de Sanem) is the local council for the commune of Sanem, in south-western Luxembourg.

It consists of fifteen members, elected every six years by proportional representation.fr icon cite web |url=http://www.sanem.lu/egocms/content_site_sanem_page_11.html |title=Conseil communal |accessdate=2007-09-14 |date= |publisher=Commune of Sanem ] The last elections were held on 9 October 2005, and resulted in a draw between the Christian Social People's Party (CSV) and Luxembourg Socialist Workers' Party (LSAP). In the "collège échevinal", the LSAP forms a coalition with The Greens, who have the third-largest contingent, under the leadership of LSAP mayor Georges Engel.
