Bennettsbridge is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Bennettsbridge, County Kilkenny, Ireland [ [http://www.kilkennygaa.ie/Clubs/Bennettsbridge.html Bennettsbridge GAA] ] The Bridge last won the Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship in 1971 although they are no longer a senior championship side. The Bridge won 12 senior hurling titles in 1890, 1952, 1953, 1955, 1956, 1959, 1960, 1962, 1964, 1966, 1967, and 1971. The club may not have won many honours at junior intermediate or senior level in recent years but the future certainly looks bright. The U-14 side has had a very successful year winning the league, the feile and took part in the roinn b championship final unfortunately losing to St.Patricks of Ballyragget.
