Veritas Wine Bar & Bistro is the leadingFact|date=September 2007 restaurant in the town of Banbury and northern Oxfordshire, in the English Midlands. The venue opened on 15 September 2006 by Dorothee and Pete Cape. Veritas has featured in many publications including Daily Express, The Oxford Times, Banbury Guardian newspaper, Oxfordshire Life, Four Shires Magazine and has a list of visitors including Joanna Froggatt (Coronation Street) and Tony Baldry (local MP)Fact|date=September 2007. Veritas has also featured in the BBC2 series, The Restaurant where it was temporarily renamed "Bravo!"
