Spider were an American rock band from New York City. They formed in 1977 and broke up in 1984. The band released two studio albums through Dreamland Records in the early 1980s and scored a few moderate hit singles in the United States.

Holly Knight later joined Device and Anton Fig later played in Paul Shaffer's band on "Late Night with David Letterman".
