Inbal Segev is a world-renowned cellist who grew up in
Israel . Ms. Segev began her studies inIsrael at the age of five. With the recommendation ofIsaac Stern , she came to the United States to continue her studies at the age of 16. She debuted with theIsrael Philharmonic and theBerlin Philharmonic under the direction ofZubin Mehta . Her Carnegie Hall debut was held on December 7, 1997, where she performed theCarnegie Hall premiere of "Trois strophes sur le nom de Sacher" for solo cello byHenri Dutilleux .
