North Tonawanda, New York . Legislator McNulty is a registered Democrat, but caucuses with the majority Republican Party in the Legislature.McNulty was overwhelmingly elected to a full two-year term in 2007 with the backing of the Republican Party, defeating Democratic nominee Edward T. McDonald by a wide 1,555 to 876 vote margin.
In September 2007, she was an early critic of the attempt by then-Gov.
Eliot Spitzer to issue drivers' licenses to undocumented aliens in New York state. More recently, she has led several job-creation initiatives in the county using her leadership role on the Economic Development Committee.A graduate of
