Cabaret Dada

Cabaret Dada

Cabaret Dada is an improvisational theatre in the Warehouse District in downtown Cleveland, Ohio.Fact|date=December 2007 Running continuously in the same location since 1995, it is currently the longest running show in America outside of New York or Chicago (not including theme parks).

Due partly to its location and longevity, it has proven to be one of the top feeders to larger theaters, and several of their performers have also performed as part of The Second City.

On May 21, 2005, it celebrated its 10th anniversary with a special show that reunited twenty-seven cast members, including six of the eight founding members.

Theater

Technically, "Cabaret Dada" refers to the theater, and "Something Dada" refers to the cast that performs there every week.

The theater is only used by the Something Dada troupe on Fridays and Saturdays, but the Cabaret Dada theater is also frequently used by other theater companies on other days of the week.

The theatre was closed down in 2006, but Something Dada continues to perform at the Tower Press Building.
