Brief History

In 1986, Atlanta-based Tillinghast, Nelson & Warren Inc., then the nation's largest independent risk management consultant [cite web | url=http://www.answers.com/topic/towers-perrin?cat=biz-fin | title=Towers Perrin: Information and Much More ] , merged with Towers, Perrin, Forster & Crosby, Inc (TPF & C). The company was restructured assigning Tillinghast's benefits practice to TPF & C and TPF & C's risk management practice to Tillinghast.
