Real-Life Cinderella: The Story of Brandy is an involving yet lighthearted look at Brandy and her claims to fame. As well as chronicling the career of the lady, this book also offers a look at the television and music industries in general.

The reader is given a sense of what was faced by young stars trying to come up in the mid-'90s. The author explores the hard work that went into marketing Brandy; what worked for her, and how she (and others) pulled it off.

We're also given glimpses of Brandy's early love life; crushes, parental intervention, and all. The book is topped off by a number of informative lists at the end, including what was at the time a comprehensive discography, a list of Brandy's TV and film credits, and a list of numerous awards bestowed upon Brandy.

Brandy: An Intimate Look is a look at Brandy, as shared by a personal friend of hers. It is a collection of facts and personal insight, and includes a look at Brandy's family and their togetherness. Each chapter explores a different aspect of the life and career of Norwood.

The book is filled with colour photographs of Brandy, including many candid pics which capture her smile. There is a collection of quotes from Brandy, too. In the book she also stated that, in a perfect world, she would have higher cheekbones, and totally change herself to look like Naomi Campbell. That world wouldn't be perfect to me.

The book also features an at the time comprehensive list of Brandy's musical, television, and movie appearances. There's also an informative Fun Facts section.

The Brandy dolls are dolls made in the likeness of R&B singer superstar Brandy. It is one of the most popular celebrities dolls made.

In 1999, Mattell released the "Brandy Cinderella Doll". The doll featured Brandy with a different Cinderella dress. Next to this, the "Holiday Brandy Doll" was released in 2000.

The doll quickly became one of the hottest toys of the year and holiday season. Millions of the dolls were sold and they were one of the biggest selling toy for Mattel. The doll was popular due to the fact they were released at the peak of Brandy's fame.

Video Game

Brandy is now in works of a soundtrack for a yet-untitled sci-fi/action video game for PlayStation Portable in which she will be providing the voice for the main character.cite web | title="Brandy To Voice Video Game Heroine"|work=Vibe.com|url=http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1001918211| accessdate=2007-04-08] The game is set to be released between late 2008 and late 2009.The game comes from Matty/Markus Games, a Los Angeles-based firm founded by director Matty Rich ("Straight Out of Brooklyn") and video game veteran Frederic Markus ("Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure.")

"An original soundtrack from artists that we build games around will be part of our release model at Matty/Markus Games," said Rich, who is working with rapper the Game on an original Mature-rated lowrider street-racing PSP game for release in the fall. A video game soundtrack will hit stores before that title's release as well.

According to the Entertainment Software Association, 40% of gamers today are female. Rich said his plan is to provide a strong female protagonist for gamers as an alternative to the typical female caricatures games often feature.

Brandy will play a strong female character who is put into a situation that she must react to -- one which has the fate of the world hinging on it," said Rich, who added that he wants to incorporate Brandy's personality, emotions and music into the game.

"She'll play a very dynamic character," Rich said. "The success of games like 'Tomb Raider' has shown that there's a need for strong female characters."
