Andy On Chi-Kit (zh-tspcy|t=安志傑|s=安志杰|cy=On Chi Kit|p=An Zhi Jie) (born May 11, 1977 in Providence, Rhode Island, USA) is a Hong Kong actor.

Biography

On was born on May 11, 1977, in Providence, Rhode Island. He was approached by China Star founder Charles Heung and world renowned filmmaker Tsui Hark to take over the role of one of Jet Li's famous movie characters, "Black Mask", in "" (2002). Andy went to the Shaolin Temple to train for a month in stretching and martial arts for the role. Despite the poor reviews and bad box office sales, Andy has continued to act and, in fact, improve in not only martial arts but acting as well. He was nominated for the Best New Actor Award for his role in Siu nin a Fu (2003) (aka Star Runner), which he would win and shared the screen with the man who influenced him, Jackie Chan, in "New Police Story".

Aside from his filmmaking career, Andy is also a singer. He has released some tracks, including a duet with Jolin Tsai called "Angel of Mine" and others. Andy's hobbies are martial arts and video games. Andy is currently training in Wing Chun Kung Fu courtesy of good friend Philip Ng, but has studied Thai boxing under former world kickboxing champion and actor Billy Chau and as mentioned, wushu at the Shaolin Temple.
