Thomas Otten is a New Age musician.

Biography

Otten was classically trained as a child, learning piano and singing in chamber choirs. His voice did not break as thoroughly as usual upon reaching adolescence, retaining a high contralto range. [ [http://www.classicfm.co.uk/Article.asp?id=251449 Profile] at ClassicFM.com. Accessed September 9, 2007.] Abandoning a career as a biologist, Otten signed to EMI subsidiary, Higher Octave, and released his first album in 2000, which was composed by Frederic Momont. A second followed in 2003 on Higher Octave; a compilation disc was released independently in 2007.

Tom Otten is also (well) known for being the principal of Elder High School in West Price Hill in Southwestern Ohio. He has been working at Elder ever since he graduated and continues to work there today.
