Marek Zieńczuk (born September 24, 1978 in Gdańsk) is a Polish footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Ruch Chorzów.

Career

Club

Zieńczuk is a trainee of Polonia Gdańsk. His first senior club was Lechia Gdańsk where he spent 5 years. In 2000 he moved to Amica Wronki. Before 2004–05 season he joined Wisła Kraków. He is a versatile midfielder with a wonderful range of passing and good goalscoring record. Zieńczuk was elected the best Ekstraklasa player in 2007/2008 season.

In the summer 2009, he joined Greek club Skoda Xanthi. After one season, he returned to his home country and joined Lechia Gdańsk.[1][2] After a half season spell, he moved to Ruch Chorzów on one and a half year contract.[3]

Zieńczuk played 9 times for Poland national football team.
