The Ministry Of Education (also known as the Education Ministry) is a ministry of the Government of Sri Lanka that directs the formulation and implementation of policies related to primary and secondary education in Sri Lanka. The ministry is not responsible for tertiary education which comes under the Ministry of Higher Education however two universities do come under the ministry.
