Vincent Benoît Camille Peillon (born
7 July 1960 inSuresnes ) is a French politician andMember of the European Parliament for the north-west ofFrance . He is a member of the Socialist Party, which is part of theParty of European Socialists , and sits on theEuropean Parliament 's Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development.He is also a substitute for the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs.
