telson . Theendopod s (interior branches) of theuropod s are present on two ( or more rarely one ) segments. In males theflagellum of the second antenna reaches beyond the hindmost edge of the carapace. They also bearpleopod s. In females the second antenna is greatly reduced. They haveexopod s (outer branches) on the thirdmaxilliped s and sometimes also on the thirdpereopod s.References
