Said Worakzai

Said Worakzai (born in Kabul 1958) is an Afghan film director.

Most of his films were made between 1978 and 1985. His work received much acclaim which angered the government due to the attention he was receiving from them and in 1996 one of his films was burned by the Taliban.

Films include Marda ra qaol ast, Khakestar, Mosafer and Safar.
