Most Ryōmō Line services continue beyond Shin-Maebashi and terminate at Takasaki on the
Jōetsu Line . Local trains are on services, about once in an hour in daylight time between Oyama and Maebashi, and twice or three times frequent between Maebashi and Takasaki. There are rapid train services. From(/to) Maebashi, Rapid Urban trains run for Ueno, and anomynous rapid bounds for Odawara, viaShōnan-Shinjuku Line . These rapid trains stop at all stations on Ryōmō Line.The "Akagi" limited express train runs between Maebashi to Ueno (four times from Ueno, two or three times from Maebashi) or Shinjuku (one coming and going). At weekends, some "Akagi" services are branded "Weekend Akagi".
