Minnesota ,United States . The community is located between Mora and Rock Creek at the junction of Minnesota State Highways 65 and 70. Hersey, Staples and Bean Lumber Company who had their logging headquarters in Section 12 of the township. George andIsaac Staples platted the community's site, naming it afterBrunswick, Maine . With stores, post office and mills located in Brunswick, it became the county seat for Kanabec County on March 13, 1859.
