23 January 1954 inAalborg ) is a Danish politician andMember of the European Parliament . She is a member of the Social Democrats, which is part of theParty of European Socialists , and is vice-chair of theEuropean Parliament 'sCommittee on Industry, Research and Energy .She is also a member of the
Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality , a substitute for theCommittee on Development , and vice-chair of the delegation for relations withSouth Africa .Career
