The Clásico centroamericano (Central American classic) is a football match played between the Costa Rica national football team and the Honduras national football team.
Apart from this classic El Salvador vs Honduras is also considered an exciting Central American match especially after the Football War.
A curious note is that Costa Rica has only beaten Honduras once in Costa Rica in World Cup Elimination in 1962
