Henry de Sully (or Henry de Soilli) was a medieval Bishop of Worcester and Abbot of Glastonbury.

Life

A monk who became Prior of Bermondsey Abbey in 1186. In September 1189 following the death of death of Henry II the new king, Richard II, named him as Abbot of Glastonbury. Soon afterwards he was elected to the see of Worcester [http://british-history.ac.uk/report.aspx?compid=33881 British History Online Bishops of Worcester] accessed on November 3, 2007] on December 4 1193 and consecrated on December 12 1193.
