Battle of Nisibis

The name Battle of Nisibis can refer to one of two battles fought near the city of Nisibis in northern Mesopotamia:

* The Battle of Nisibis (217) between the Romans and the Parthians
* The first Siege of Nisibis (338) by the Sassanids under Shapur II.
* The second Siege of Nisibis (346) by the Sassanids under Shapur II
* The third Siege of Nisibis (350) by the Sassanids under Shapur II
* The Battle of Nisibis (530) between the Eastern Romans and the Sassanid Persians
