Valencina de la Concepción is a city located in the province of Seville, Spain. According to the 2005 census (INE), the city has a population of 7431 inhabitants. Valencina is near to Seville, only a 6 km

The second sunday of October there is a popular party in Valencina de la Concepción. The popular party, that is called "Romería de Torrijos", is a great moment to visit Valencina. The "Romería de Torrijos" has been declared festival of national tourist interest since 1.998.

Also, Valencina de la Concepción has a big Calcolithic deposit, one of the biggest of Spain. In Valencina you can visit two very famous dolmens, the dolmen of Matarrubilla and the dolmen of La Pastora

To take a breakfast, you can go to the Venta Bobito, in the main street of Valencina, the Avenue of Andalucía. In the Venta Bobito you can eat a great toast with Jamon Serrano, tomatoes and oil. To lunch you can go to the Bodega El Chispa, in the same street, where you can eat a tasty sirloin with roquefort sauce or Pan Tumaca (bread with Jamon Serrano and Salmorejo) or a very very tasty Secreto Ibérico. The beer in El Chispa is very cold and cheap. Another place to eat is the Restaurant Navarro, where you can eat the better Migas of the Aljarafe (the region of Valencina).
