Intelsat 14

Intelsat 14

Intelsat 14 is a future communications satellite owned by Intelsat planned to be located at 45° W longitude, serving the Americas market. Intelsat 14 is intended to replace Intelsat 1R which is nearing the end of its design life. It is currently being built by Space Systems Loral, as part of its LS-1300 line.

The clients for Intelsat 14 are expected to include the current clients for Intelsat 1R.
