Unorganized World War II Divisions (United States)

Unorganized World War II Divisions (United States)

The following divisions were authorized during World War II, but not organized. Several were organized following the war.

The 105th and 107th Infantry Divisions were to join the 92nd and 93rd Infantry Divisions as negro divisions of the Army of the United States. A shortage of manpower resulted in the activations of the 105th and 107th to be formally canceled in 1942.

Airborne Divisions
