The Halo P-12 is a forthcoming pump-action bullpup shotgun featuring a large magazine, in-line with the barrel much like that found on the FN P-90. A side-effect of this magazine is that it will only fire 2 3/4" shells from the magazine, and individually loaded 3" shells, and will not take 3 1/2" shells at all; this was a tradeoff to reduce overall width of the weapon (which must be at least as wide as the shells are long due to the magazine geometry).

The P-12 has an overall length of around 27". It weighs less than 9lbs. fully loaded. The weapon ejects from the bottom, and has a removable trigger pack. It is currently being designed by Monolith Arms, by the same guys that started its devlopement at Halo Mfg. The new weapon will have an overall improvent over the original design. A new prototype is expected to be released in summer 2008.
