John Wakering (or John Wakeryng) was a medieval Bishop of Norwich.

He was named Lord Privy Seal in June of 1415 and dismissed from that office in July of 1416.Powicke "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 92]

He was elected about November 24 1415 and was consecrated on May 31 1416. He died on April 9 1425.Powicke "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 243]
