- Vorarlberg state election, 2009
State elections will be held in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg in 2009. [http://sora.at/de/start.asp?b=15] Apart from the Austrian People's Party, the Social Democratic Party of Austria, The Greens – The Green Alternative and the Freedom Party of Austria, a list based on the Vorarlberg Chamber of Labour faction "Neue Bewegung für die Zukunft" (New Movement for the Future), which is a list consisting of and fighting for the rights of migrants, will contest the election. Due to the large number of migrants in Vorarlberg (45,000 of 366,000), it is virtually assured that it will be able to clear the electoral threshold of 4%.
