Alice in Chains song "Right Turn" off of their 1992 EP, "Sap". The group was so named because it involvedChris Cornell ofSoundgarden andMark Arm of Mudhoney on vocals, in addition to the AIC membership. "Alice Mudgarden" was a combination of the names of all three bands.AIC guitarist
Jerry Cantrell , Cornell and Arm had talked about forming a grunge supergroup named Alice Mudgarden for a brief time following the release of "Sap", but when the bands hit it big in the mainstream the idea died.The only released track "Right Turn" was played before a battle scene int the 2001 film Blackhawk Down, however the song is not on its soundtrack but is listed in the movie credits.
