Richard de Wentworth (or Richard Bintworth) was a medieval Bishop of London.

He was a canon of St. Paul's when he was named Lord Privy Seal on March 25 1337, holding that office until July of 1338.Powicke "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 91]

He was elected bishop on May 4 1338 and consecrated on July 12 1338.Powicke "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 239]

He was named Lord Chancellor of England on July 6 1338 and held that office until his death.Powicke "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 84]

He died on December 8 1339.
