He would continue to appear on television during the next four decades, appearing on such shows as "The Twilight Zone" (in episodes "Third from the Sun " and "The Obsolete Man "), "Beyond This Place", "Dr. Kildare", "The Man from U.N.C.L.E. ", "Rawhide", ', "Combat! ", "Gunsmoke ", "Mannix ", "Kung Fu", "Hawaii Five-O ", "Magnum P.I. ", "Murder, She Wrote ", "Matlock", "Law & Order ", ' (in the episode "Tribunal"),The X-Files ", and "Frasier ".Weaver won the
Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play and theDrama Desk Award for Outstanding Performance for "Child's Play" (1970).
