SNS College of Engineering(SNSCE), located at Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India is a private self financing engineering institute. The college is approved by AICTE and is affiliated to the Anna University Coimbatore. The college was established in the academic year 2007-2008 and has currently started its second batch of students enjoying a total intake of nearly 600 students

The college offers three courses leading to the Degree of Bachelor of Engineering(B.E.) and one course leading to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) and Master of Business Administration(MBA) of the Anna University Coimbatore

Admission Procedure

The Undergraduate students are admitted based on their 12th standard(higher secondary school) scores. The admissions are done as per the Government of Tamil Nadu norms through State Government Counselling(TNEA)and through regulated management seat procedures.

Computing and Internet Facilities

The college boasts of a well equipped and fully air-contioned Computer Centre with 80 Pentium Dual Core systems. The servers are equipped with Xeon Dual Pentium D processors, 2 GB RAM and SCSI Hard disk drives. In addition, there is also a 24 x7 Internet Centre that houses 25 systems in the above mentioned configuration. The entire campus is well networked.

Library

The college has a well stacked library with more than 5500 books and 24 journals. Though the lion's share of books are technical, a good assortment of books on personal development are made available. The library also houses more than 500 educational CDs. Moreover, the library has a computerised catalog of titles to make book search easier for the students. In addition, a digital library is also housed inside the library with 12 terminals and broadband internet connectivity.
