classic rock at 92.1MHz on the FM dial inWinnipeg, Manitoba . Formerly the world's most powerful FM station, in 2003CITI was granted a decrease ineffective radiated power from 210,000 to 100,000 watts, and the relocated its transmitter 20 kilometres north of its former site.The station was founded in1962 as CKY-FM, and adopted its current callsign in1978 . In the early 1990s, the station was acquired by Rogers Communications, who converted CITI's sister station CKY-AM to the FM band in2004 , and retained the CKY callsign on that station.The very first song played on the new CITI-FM in 1978 was
