Heathmont College is a coeducational government school located in
Heathmont , Victoria. The school provides education to students from Year 7 to Years 12 and offers the VCE certificate to its students. The school has recently begun to offer theVCAL certificate to students in Years 11 and 12 and has introduced a Year 10 "Pre-CAL" program which commenced in 2008.
The College Principal of 9 and a half years, Mr John Handley, recently finished his time at Heathmont College and has decided to move on toEast Doncaster Secondary College . Hence for term 3 of 2008 there have been some administrative changes which are as shown. The School Council announced that the new principal of Heathmont College will be Dorothy Henwood from Parkwood Secondary College who will commence from the start of term 4, 2008.Composition of School
Heathmont College is divided into two separate sub-schools. Each school is overseen by a Head of School and an Assistant Principal with ultimate policy-making power residing with the School Council and College Principal.
Middle School

The college's Middle School incorporates all students from Year 7 to Year 9.
The Year 7 and Year 8's are divided into four "learning circles": A/B, C/D, E/F and G/H. Currently each learning circle has a coordinator who is responsible for ensuring the wellbeing and discipline of the students in their learning circle. The College's policy is to minimise the number of teachers in each learning circle if possible so that many teachers will only teach classes in one learning circle and maximize student learning.
At Year 9 level, two coordinators oversee the entire Year 9 population.enior School

LOTE
The College offers two LOTE (
