Richard Swinefield (or Richard de Swinfield) was a medieval Bishop of Hereford.

Life

He was the prebendary of Hampton [http://british-history.ac.uk/report.aspx?compid=34422 British History Online Bishops of Hereford] accessed on October 26, 2007] before he was elected to the see of Hereford on October 1 1282. He consecrated on March 7 1283. He died on March 15 1317.Fryde "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 250]
