Jonas Andersson (Born
February 24 1981 inStockholm, Sweden ) is a professionalice hockey player.Andersson was selected number 33 overall in the second round of the
1999 NHL Entry Draft by theNashville Predators .Andersson played the majority of his North American professional career with the Predator's minor league affiliate the
Milwaukee Admirals .He did get a chance to play in the NHL, playing five games for the Predators in the
2001–02 NHL season . However, he has mostly failed to live up to his draft status since being picked, being part of the poor 1–2 punch that the Preds selected in 1999, following goaltenderBrian Finley .He went back to Sweden in 2004, playing for
Södertälje SK andBrynäs IF inElitserien during the NHL lock out season. He then moved to the FinnishSM-liiga , playing forIlves ind 2005 andHPK in 2006 and 2007. He was traded toKärpät mid-season and subsequently won the Finnish League Championship with them. During the final series against Espoo Blues, Andersson was the leading scorer with 3 goals and 3 assists in five games.External links
