Joe Astroth

Joseph Henry Astroth (born September 1, 1922 in East Alton, Illinois) was a Catcher for the Philadelphia/Kansas City Athletics (1945-46 and 1949-56).

In 10 seasons he played in 544 Games, 1,579 At Bats, 163 Runs, 401 Hits, 51 Doubles, 10 Triples, 13 Home Runs, 156 RBI, 6 Stolen Bases, 177 Walks, .254 Batting Average, .334 On-base percentage, .324 Slugging Percentage, 511 Total Bases and 20 Sacrifice Hits.Fact|date=September 2007
