Popcorn Taxi is a regular film event held in
Australia that presents local and international film and television works ranging from feature and short films to documentaries.The event was founded in 1999 by filmmakers Gary Doust and Matt Wheeldon. Always about the filmmaking process, Popcorn Taxi programmes aim to explore why the filmmakers made the choices they did and how they brought their visions to the screen. The guests are usually Producers, Directors, Writers, Cinematographers, Editors, Visual Effects Supervisors, Designers, Composers and Actors.

Kevin Smith ,George Miller (producer) ,Dennis Hopper ,Baz Luhrmann ,Gillian Armstrong ,Wim Wenders ,Tim Robbins ,Danny Boyle ,Errol Morris ,Phillip Noyce ,Roger Corman ,Richard Linklater ,Philip Glass andEwan McGregor .Popcorn Taxi was recognized by the Australian Film Institute with the (AFI)
