Chui Chin

Chui Chin

Chui Chin, or Qiu Jin, was a Chinese rebel who was tortured and beheaded by the Manchu dynasty in 1907. In addition to founding a newspaper known as The Chinese Women's Journal, Chui dressed in masculine clothing and organized an insurrectionist army.
