John Hotham was a medieval Bishop of Ely.

He was elected to Ely about June 20 1316 and consecrated on October 3 1316.Fryde "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 244]

He was appointed Lord High Treasurer of England on May 27 1317 and left that office before June 10 1318.Fryde "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 104]

He was appointed Lord Chancellor of England on June 11 1318 and held that office until January 26 1320.Fryde "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 86]

He died about January 14 1337.
