Potamiscinae

Potamidae is a family of freshwater crabs. Its more than 500 species and 74 genera are divided into two subfamilies — Potaminae around the Mediterranean Sea, on Socotra and eastwards to Northern India, and Potamiscinae in East Asia [cite journal |quotes=no |title=Recognition of two subfamilies in the Potamidae Ortmann, 1896 (Brachyura, Potamidae) with a note on the genus "Potamon" Savigny, 1816 |author=Darren C.
