Amber Halliday

Amber Halliday is a World Champion and Olympic lightweight rower from Adelaide, South Australia. Specialising in sculling, Halliday made her international debut in 1999, winning the Under-23 World Championship in Hamburg. She has since won four world championships - the lightweight quad scull in 2001 and the lightweight double scull in 2002, 2003 and 2007. Halliday also competed in the 2004 Olympic Games with double-partner Sally Newmarch, setting a world-best time in their heat before coming fourth in the final.
