Paul Collins (Australian religious writer)

Paul Collins is an Australian historian, broadcaster, and writer.

He was born in Melbourne, Australia in March 1940.

In March 2001 he resigned from his role as a Catholic priest due to a dispute with the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith over his book, "Papal Power".

He has stated publically that the current Australian Catholic Archbishop of Sydney George Pell is too fundamentalist.
