Katherine B. Waddell (born
June 16 ,1938 ) is a Virginiapolitician who serves in theVirginia House of Delegates . She represents the 68th District, which includes portions of the City of Richmond and Chesterfield County.Waddell, a former Republican, is currently serving her first term after defeating incumbent Republican Delegate
Brad Marrs in the 2005 General Election by 42 votes. She ran in 2005 as a moderate,pro-choice alternative to the conservative Marrs and serves as one of 3 independents in the House of Delegates.Waddell was defeated for re-election in the November 6, 2007 general election against Republican candidate
