Frances Salisbury

Frances Webb (April 10 1775 – January 22 1862) was the wife of Thomas Salisbury (1761-1810) and the mother of Anne Caroline Salisbury. She is the second earliest recorded matrilineal ancestor of Queen Elizabeth II, being her great-great-great-grandmother. She was great-great-grandmother to Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother. The parents of Frances were Francis Webb and Mary Garritt.

Frances survived her husband, who was a solicitor, by over fifty years and died at Salisbury, Wiltshire, in 1862.
