Thomas Fleetwood

Thomas Fleetwood (real identity unknown) is an American businessman and author. Currently resides in the state of Arizona.

Thomas Fleetwood grew in popularity from businessman to author quickly with his first self-published book "The United States of Lazy" (2007). Fleetwood gained national publicity through deletion of his books' discussion on Oprah's Book Club Message Board. "The United States of Lazy" has been banned from the website.

Refueled Knowledge is Power

In 2007, Thomas Fleetwood refueled the discussion of "knowledge is power" through acceptance of Change, Love, Patience, and Nutrition. Fleetwood is often referred to resemble Timothy Leary and his teachings.

Fleetwood's book, "The United States of Lazy" subtitled "The Basic Book of Change" does not take back seat even when it came to the format of the pages. Using non-traditional spaces between the paragraphs, Fleetwood has studied through private tests, this style of format to increase awareness in readers who would otherwise not read. Fleetwood has found the paragraphs written today up close to one another creates the sense in the mind that the entire page is one long paragraph - which prohibits non-readers from ever picking up a book to begin with. Fleetwood has also used "everyday" language in his book to favor a personal friend-to-friend conversation.
