Jason Jones (pitcher)

Jason Keith Jones (born November 20 1982 in Pasadena, Maryland) is a starting pitcher in the New York Yankees organization. He currently plays for the Double-A Trenton Thunder. Jones attended Liberty University in Virginia. Jones is 6'5" and weighs 225 pounds. He bats and throws right handed.

Jones was drafted by the Yankees in the fourth round of the 2004 Major League Baseball Draft. On May 28, 2006 he was named the Florida State Pitcher of the Week. Jones was a 2006 Florida State Mid-Season All-Star. On July 9, 2007 he was named the Eastern League Pitcher of the Week.
