Mozal is the largest aluminium producer in Mozambique and the second-largest in Africa having a total annual production of around 530,000 tonnes. Ownership is BHP Billiton, Mitsubishi Corporation, IFC and the Government of Mozambique. Marketing is split between Mitsubishi Corporation and BHP Billiton

It is located in Beluluane, district of Boane, near the city of Matola in southern Mozambique.
